Bob, Percy and Nancy are three very lucky cubs. Born into the circus, their future looked bleak, but now in our care, they have been reunited with their family and now live at a fantastic sanctuary in Colorado.
These three lion cubs are the last animals ever to perform in the Bolivian circus. Just before we rescued them, we obtained footage of them being split from their mother, and used for photographs by circus workers. Now that life is long behind them. These little cubs will never have to perform for people again.
In our second rescue diary, in the countdown til the Lion Ark takes off, ADI President Jan Creamer recounts the cubs' journey to the ADI Compound, and introduces the rest of their family.
